From 11 to 13 September 2026, from 10.30 am to 10.00 pm, Lungomare Vassallo will host the Market of Flavours, an open-air venue dedicated to the finest gastronomic specialities of the Mediterranean.
Visitors will discover a carefully curated selection of local produce alongside regional delicacies from across Italy, reflecting both the area's rich fishing heritage and the flavours of its inland traditions. Seafood specialities, artisan products, preserves, wines and regional delicacies will take visitors on a journey through different regions, traditions and identities.
Particular attention will be given to the mussels of the Gulf of La Spezia, an authentic symbol of the local culinary tradition. They will be presented alongside mussels from other Italian regions, offering visitors the chance to discover and compare different varieties, cooking methods and regional traditions.
For three days, Lerici will become a meeting place and a showcase for the flavours of the Mediterranean, bringing together the local culinary heritage with the finest produce from other parts of Italy.
