Sea and Mediterranean Flavours Trail, with a tasting of local specialities

An opportunity to experience Lerici beyond the sea, exploring the places, stories and traditions that make its local heritage so unique.

Discover Lerici and its surroundings on a walk through seaside landscapes, villages and scenic trails. The circular route, approximately 4.8 km long, starts at Rotonda Vassallo and follows the seafront to Venere Azzurra, before continuing towards San Terenzo, passing by Bagno Colombo and along Via Mantegazza.

From here, the route leaves the coast and, via Via XX Settembre, climbs towards Bagnola, Solaro, Pugliola and Barcola, crossing the Lerici countryside before joining Trail 460, which leads back to Rotonda Vassallo and completes the loop.

The walk takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, with an elevation gain of around 230 metres, offering the chance to discover the different sides of the area, from the seafront and historic villages to the inland trails. Along the way, we will also have the opportunity to admire some of the area’s historic residences, including Villa Marigola, Casa Shelley and Villa Rezzola.

At the end of the walk, participants can round off the experience with a tasting of local specialities at the Mercato dei Sapori, discovering the area’s finest produce and traditions through its flavours.
