Executive Chef, Alpemare Beach Restaurant, Forte dei Marmi After graduating from the G. Casini Hospitality Institute in Lerici, Mirko Caldino completed a diploma in Food & Beverage Management at LUISS Business School.
Throughout his career, he has gained experience in prestigious Italian and European kitchens, working alongside internationally renowned chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Igles Corelli, Luisa Vallazza, Mauro Uliassi and Aimo and Nadia Moroni.
In 1996, he opened the All'Incontro restaurant in La Spezia.
He subsequently held the position of Executive Chef at leading international establishments, including the Noa Lounge & Laboratory in Moscow, the Ginza Project in St Petersburg, the ORONERO restaurant at the JW Marriott in Baku, the Castello di Velona in Tuscany, and a start-up in the catering sector in Miami.
In 2012, he was also in charge of the Italian cuisine at the G20 summit in Vladivostok.
He is currently Executive Chef for Maestro Andrea Bocelli, overseeing the kitchens at Alpemare Beach in Forte dei Marmi.
He also works with Crespi Eventi as a culinary consultant for the Diamonds Thudufushi Resort in the Maldives.
Under his culinary leadership, Alpemare Beach was named Best Beach Club in the Mediterranean in both 2024 and 2025.
